久しぶりに行った展覧会のことを書こうと思います。
「魅惑のコスチューム：バレエ・リュス展」。
娘がバレエを習ってはや2年。生のバレエも何度か見に行きましたが、バレエ衣装の展覧会は初めてでした。

歴史的なことや、有名なダンサーやアーティスト、作曲家のこと等、まだまだ分からないことばかりの娘にとって、衣装自体が魅力的でなければ楽しむのは難しかったと思いますが、「これが着たい！」「このお話を知りたい！」「ステキ！」等々。ポジティブな感想をたくさん聞かせてくれました。

バレエの知識が皆無な私ではありますが、西洋美術の歴史に名を残す、ピカソ、キリコ、マティス、コクトー、ローランサン、ブラックにシャネル等の、当時のアーティスト、デザイナー達がこのバレエ団に携わっていたことを知り、その作品を楽しく拝見致しました。
個人的にはジョルジョ・デ・キリコのデザインした衣装の数々には視線を奪われました。

「魅惑のコスチューム：バレエ・リュス展」は国立新美術館で9月１日迄です。興味がある方はぜひ足を伸ばしてみてはいかがでしょう。

今日は嬉しいお知らせ。
3月にGallery・Sinで展示販売していたピンバッチ" blomma "の再注文を受けたんです。
日々暑くさが増す中、さっそく中量生産中。
Sinさんでひとめぼれした糸巻きこけしちゃんも、いまは新聞を個撚った糸をまとってシックな感じ。


















前回は締め切り寸前までバタバタで自分の分を作れなかったけれど、
こんどこそ自分の分も作って使っている画像をブログに紹介したいです。

Today I have a nice news. I got an order to make more pins which are made of the news paper. During getting hotter and hotter everyday, I started making them. Itomaki Kokeshi is also wearing newspaper yearn on my worktable, and it looks so fashionable.

I could not make the pin for me last time, because of slowness of my work. But this time, I want to show how it looks at the final.

Sendai

去る３月、仙台へ行ってきました。

「復興の役に立ちたいなら現地へ行ってお金を使ってくることだ。」

誰から聞いたのか、どこかで読んだのか？

「確かにそうかも。」と思いたち、

子供達の休みにあわせて家族で行ってきました。

被害の少なかった松島で一泊。

翌日は石巻を観光。

車を走らせながら、時折見える災害の爪痕に驚かされました。

それでも観光スポットでは子供達もたっぷり楽しみました。

子連れにお勧めなのはサン•ファン館。歴史と海風が感じられます。

そして、作品を展示しているギャラリーのある多賀城へ。

写真はGallery・Sinで復興へのメッセージを桜の短冊にしたためているところ。
（後ろにかすかに見えているのが私達夫婦が作ったスツールです。）

近くで見た短冊はこんな感じ。

想いの沢山詰まった展覧会であることを再認識しました。

青葉城跡から臨む仙台市街。天気も良くて気分は最高潮でした。

あっという間の3日間。

役に立ちたいなんて思っていたけれど。

結局、元気をもらったのは私の方でした。

March, I went to Sendai with my family. I thought it will be nice to go there and spend money to help the place.
We took a rest at first night at Matsushima where is was less of damage.The next day, we visited Ishinomaki to know the damage of the tsunami.While running my car, we were occasionally surprised by visible disaster.But we enjoyed sight seeing too.
 At Gallery・Sin, we wrote massages to recovery.
I saw other many impressive massages there.


 

Början

今年に入って初めて書いています。という訳で、
明けましておめでとうございます。今年も宜しくお願い致します。

もう、一月は半分以上過ぎてしまった。充実した日々を過ごしております。やっと織り始めました。昨年10月に織機を出してからずいぶん経ちますがやっとサンプルの布を織っています。椅子張り用の布のサンプルです。

夫婦で椅子を作りたいと思っていました。私が布を担当し、椅子のデザインは夫にやってもらう。ちょっと大げさですが、このために夫を選んだと言っても良いかも？
なので、「やっとこの日が来た！」と思いつつ、これをスタートにどんどんインテリアを発表していきたいです。これは最初の一歩の布ということなります。仕上がりを見せるのが恥ずかしいものにならぬよう気を抜かずにがんばります！

I am writing this blog for the first time in this year. ...So,
Happy New Year!
 
More than half of January has already past, and I am spending the day-to-day fulfilling. I began weaving at last . It has past a lot since I took the loom into my studio in October last year. Now I am weaving the fabric of the sample finally. This is a sample of cloth upholstery .

I had wanted to make a chair with my husband  for a long time. I make the fabric , the the chair is designed by my husband. This is a slight exaggeration, but it is the one of the biggest reasons why I chose my husband? 
So, I think " This day came at last !" I want to announce the interior more and more in the future with him. This is the cloth of the first step. I will do my best to show the final shape of this chair now.

Tidnings från Sendai

画像は前回紹介したピンバッチ制作のために友人が送ってくれた新聞の切り抜きです。さすが仙台で集められたの記事。関東の新聞とは比べ物にならないほど 、震災や復興に関する記事の扱いは多く内容も多岐にわたります。写真もカラーが多いし一面に載ることもあるよう。毎月11日と12日は震災、復興に関する記事が多くなるとも聞きました。まだ震災は終ったことではなく、復興は始まったばかりということも伝わってきます。

１つ１つ、読み終えた記事から糸にして行く作業を通じて、私も震災や復興に対する理解を深めて行けたら良いと思います。せっかく集めた記事を提供してくれた友に感謝の気持ちで一杯です。大切につかわせて頂いてます。

The image is newspaper clipping which my friend sent me for pin batch production that was introduced in the last. There are so many articles about  the earthquake disaster and the revival since they  were collected at Sendai.  I heard that there are much more articles in 11th and 12th every month on one newspaper.

It is full of the feeling of thanks for the friend who offered the articles that she collected with much effort. I am using them carefully.

これからちょこちょこ仙台のチャリティー展で販売する作品を紹介していきたいと思います。まずは、上画像のピンバッチです。

このピンバッチ、被災地の今を記事とした新聞に紙縒りをかけ、麻糸に織り込んで作られています。
大きさは手のひらほどです。マフラーのアクセントにつけたり。鞄につけて持ち歩いて欲しいです。そうして、東日本大震災を思い出すきっかけになったらいいなぁ、と思っています。

購入を希望される方はご連絡ください。１つ500円で販売致します。金額の半分は来年3月の展覧会終了後、宮城県庁子育て支援課「東日本大震災みやぎこども育英募金」へ寄付することになります。

I would like to introduce the works to be sold at a charity exhibition in Sendai. The first ones are pins of image. These pins, I use a newspaper string made of articles about East Japan Great Earthquake disaster and a linen thread.
The size is about a palm. You can put it on the muffler as an accent. Or you can carry it with the bag. I hope it makes people to remember the East Japan Great Earthquake disaster.
Please contact me if you wish to purchase. It will be sold for 500 yen per one. Half amount of the money will be donated to Miyagi prefectural government child care support section "East Japan Great Earthquake disaster, Miyagi Children's Scholarship Fund" after the exhibition of next March.

スウェーデンでお世話になった織りの先生、Amicaが日本に遊びに来ていました。スウェーデン大使館で行なわれている展覧会、PLENITUDEにKonstfackの講師Eva Lagnertや卒業生が多数参加しているので、それにあわせて東京に遊びに来ていました。久しぶりにファイバーアートに触れ、むず痒い気分になったのは、手仕事から離れている自分に対する不満からだったのかもしれません。

やっと会えたAmicaとは新宿で一緒に食事をし、思い出話や子供の話しで盛り上がり、楽しい時間はあっという間でした。そんな中、Amicaが私に聞いたんです。"織っているの？"と。私は、"うん。織るよ。次の展覧会には織るんだ。"と自分に約束する様な形で答えたのでした。

という訳で、織ります！プリントの布を制作するため色々と根回ししていたんですが、今思えばなんだかしっくりきてなかったように思います。織ると決まったら何だかふつふつ元気さえ湧いてきます。「私、織りたかったんだ！」と気付かせてくれたAmicaと展覧会に、感謝の気持ちで一杯です。まずは織機を組み立てるところからスタートです。

My Swedish weaving teacher came to Tokyo to see an exhibition PLENITUDE at Embassy of Sweden. I visited there too, and envy their handwork.

When having dinner with Amica at Shinjuki, she asked me
" Do you weave ? "
Then I answered
" Yes, I am weaving for the next exhibition. "
I think the answer is a promise by myself.

I had set up a lot for the printing, but now I am really happy to decide that it should be a weaving cloth. The exhibition and Amica made me realize "I want to weave now!" I am very thankful to them. I  am going to assemble the loom now.
